Our Founder/Director is Gankar Tulku Rinpoche
The Venerable Gankar Tulku Rinpoche was recognized at the age of five as the
third Gankar Tulku of Dzindu Monastery in Markham Tibet. His principal
teachers were Tara Rinpoche, Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche and Ling Rinpoche.
He earned his Geshe Larampa degree in 1996 at Drepung Loseling and then went on to complete the program of advance studies at Gyuto Tantric University. He has traveled and taught extensively
in Asia, Europe, and North America. Rinpoche served as Director of Gyuto
Wheel of Dharma Monastery in Minnesota. He is currently the Lama-Director of Khacholing Center in Minneapolis and Tardo Ling Center in San Francisco.
Robert W. Clark, Ph.D.- Center Administrator
Robert W. Clark has been translating Tibetan texts and lectures by Tibetan scholars and lamas since 1972. He has a Ph.D. in Buddhist Studies from the University of Virgina,and is currently the coordinator of the Tibetan Language Program at Stanford University.
